Remember the good old days? When a console
was advertised by getting, say, George Plimpton (God rest his soul) to come in and talk smack about the competition?
Those were the days. Especially when, looking back, both consoles produced output that looked like rubbish. Gameplay
was king, baby!
If you're a certain age, you no doubt remember the old systems and feel old when you do. Well, now you can feel old in
a whole new way and watch some vintage games commercials. And for those who are younger and don't remember the Atari
VCS, you can watch and see how far we've come. The commercials are mainly from the 8-bit days, but there's a couple of
gems buried in there.
