Once upon a time, there was a mod group called SimBin. They developed a mod
called GTR for F1 2002. Then, one day, they pulled all their
downloads without explanation. Rumours were they'd turned pro/sold out, depending on your POV. GTR is the fruit of
their loins. Out in Germany for some time, it's only now coming out for those of you who don't speak the
language.
The game is generating a lot of good press, like this preview, though the negative nellys are dismissing the game
saying "Aye lad, it's just a fancy mod". I've not tried the demo. I find it despicable to include intrusive copy
protection mechanisms on a demo, but you can read this to
know why I have a problem with that. If you don't care about such things, you can find the demo

GTR arrives in an official English version on February 25th.
