The Winning Eleven series is finally available for Xbox owners in the US! And Team Xbox has delivered one of the first official reviews. 9.3 out 10. Not bad; and not surprising, seeing as how the Winning Eleven franchise is widely considered the people's champ, easily besting big bad FIFA, EA's license-heavy soccer title, in terms of gameplay and sheer enjoyment.
Sadly, the US version lacks LIVE compatibility, but perhaps Konami figured it would be best (for us Yankees) to brush up on our skills in-house before taking on our European counterparts. Perhaps. Either way, if you're a fan of sports games, WE 8 is a must try, if not a must buy.
