Our good friends over at Engadget may have scooped a deep one. According to an inside source, the next generation of Xbox will go by the name Xbox 360. Apparently, the company thinks the name "Xbox 2" isn't competitive with "Playstation 3". Xbox 360, on the other hand, beats Playstation 3 by 357 — a clear advantage…
Of course, as with all scoops, this should be considered rumor until the official announcement. But it does have a ring to it; besides the fact that an Xbox doing a 360 brings it right back to where it was when it started. That doesn't paint a picture of progress, does it?
