MCV is reporting that "senior sources" are verifying the Xbox 360 is on track for a holiday release. The plan is to
launch the hardware in North America first, followed by Europe a few weeks later (hopefully before the end of the
year). The closeness of the European release to the NA's is a new twist in the tale. Usually "secondary" markets have
to wait months. We'll see if MS is able to pull off the maneuver, though. If NA sales exceed expectations, the first
promise broken will be the European launch date.
[Thanks Kamalot!]
