Electronic Arts are continuing to buy shares
in Ubisoft. This Reuters piece has comments from EA. I find it really helps to read the comments aloud, in a voice like
that of a villain from a James Bond film.
Electronic Arts are now the largest shareholder in Ubisoft.

oddly enough (perhaps) ubi has a big studio here in montreal, and the provincial gov announced last week they're sponsoring a dev/education deal between ubi and some schools for a ubi-campus to train people in game development; this is all peachy, but i can't help worry about the hostile take-over EA wants to impose
