Ron Millar, Lead Designer of Black & White 2, takes a break from the 18 hour days, and gives Lionhead Times an
interview. This one is purely for Black & White fans, since it gets into what's going to be different about the
sequel. While Peter Molyneux is involved in the project, he's acting as more of a co-designer this time around. That
may be a good thing for the project. Most complaints about the original was that it was more of a sandbox, than a game.
But Black & White 2 will include real time strategy elements, including city building, advisors and battles.
If there's one reservation about the project after reading the interview, it's that the game may try to be too many
things to too many people. However, all you have to do is look at the screens and some of those reservations will
disappear. Even if the game is awful, you can always fly around and look at the pretty environments (yes, kidding).
