Blizzard hits Europe hard - WoW sets records
Given its effect on the US market, it's hardly a surprise
to see the European launch of World of Warcraft crushing a number of regional records. 280,000 units sold on
opening day (Feb. 11th), 380,000+ by the end of the weekend. Add to that, 290,000+ accounts created, 180,000+
concurrent users, and 80+ servers in use! Yeah, talk about putting the "WOW" in WoW, huh? Right? That
was funny, right? Er, maybe not…

I'm gonna stab you in the face... that was not funny! But yeah, every other MMOG on the planet just got wowned. ;) Now, that was funny.

It's an amazing game. I've never enjoyed MMORPG's, felt they were boring, and you spent a lot of time managing your character instead of playing the game. And it seemed like the different classes all played basically the same.
WoW gets you into the game right away, and let's you play. I love it. It's certainly not bug-free, but it's an amazing game.
