This should be interesting. It looks like Scott Miller, main man of Dukeland, is blessing the idea of going with a Steam-like distribution method for the next Duke Nukem title. While most of us will just shrug at this, those people who experienced some of Steam's darker moments may not be so happy. The specific tech mentioned by Miller is Gamesxtream. Hey, it may be an awful name, but he swears by it. Bottom line is that streaming distribution is here to stay, so there may be a few years of growing pains before we can all settle on a near-perfect system.
