A similar thing was done when Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 was released on the Dreamcast.

There is a Redman track in the game "Let's Get Dirty"; it went a little something like this...

I ain't on the guest list, I ain't V.I.P.
I snuck in the exit, learned to D-I-P
My dress code is all black when I'm makin the moves, Similar to the new... [BLANK]

If you can't figure it out,
[BLANK] == Playstation 2

EA isn't the only one that does this type of stuff.

Product placement in games is a long-time tradition, as any die-hard racing simmers will tell you. What is unusual is the product placement in some games is now migrating beyond just ambience... but if there's money to be made in it, developers will try it.

Uhhh, THPS 3 wasn't released on the Dreamcast. The series only went so far as to release THPS 2 on the DC.
