The Raven, a miniature UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle), is the US Army's latest toy. It's a versatile
aircraft, weighing in at a mere 4.5 lbs with a 5-foot wingspan, equipped with three specialized cameras, and the
battery capacity to sustain roughly an hour of flight time. And who, you might ask, would be trusted to pilot the
Raven?
"One of the best pilots in the 1st Cav. is a cook… Some of these kids have been raised with PlayStation in their
hands and are better able to handle watching a screen and controlling the aircraft."
[Thanks, Gavin]
