As was mentioned earlier this week, those lucky dogs in Europe will be getting some extra
goodies
in Gran Turismo 4. It's assumed the US
release will get some or all of these, but nothing has been confirmed. (All I want is A-Spec->B-Spec in the pits.)
One lucky user at GTPlanet has somehow obtained the PAL version of the game. Now, I admit, it could be a hoax. However,
the user has a good reputation on the board, and when you read the post, it's very convincing.
For what it's worth, I spoke to the manager where I plan to buy GT4. They said they weren't taking preorders as they
didn't know how many copies they were getting. He also said Sony are trying to stop pre-sales and most likely they
won't be getting their stock until around 5am Tuesday morning.
I'll be casting a critical eye over GT4 on here sometime in March, once I've had a good chance to put it through it's
paces.
