Rumors. Some people love 'em, some people hate 'em. Here at Joystiq, we're in the former camp. We deal with so many, as a matter of fact, we ought to add a Rumor atom to our site (after we finally get on with that Revolution atom, of course). But here's one we missed: the purported discman-esque PS3 mockup. Taking some initiative, GameStop's Rumor Control did some detective work to uncover the real story. And by "detective work," I mean they read the paragraph shown below the picture of the device, which actually states it is nothing more than a mockup by a British design firm drawn completely from imagination. Alas, now we'll have to wait until E3 for a next-gen gaming device that doubles as a grill that gets out the fat.
