Nintendo's Eiji Aonuma has revealed some details on the next Zelda title, tentatively entitled The Legend of Zelda.
The details are sparse, granted, but they should do a good job of feeding the hype machine.
One of the key points made about the game is that it will be "very, very beautiful." Now if it was just a beautiful
game, you may think, "Hey, he would MAYBE stretch it to 'very beautiful' just to be keep our panties unbunched." But
the fact that he said "very" TWO times, can only mean it's at least "very beautiful", and at worst "beautiful". If he'd
said "hot" we'd probably be just as impressed.
The other detail is that the game will be set after Wind Waker.
The more solid story to come out of the article is that Nintendo will "definitely" do a Zelda game for the DS. That's
pretty much assumed, but it's nice to hear again and again. He does go on to say that Four Swords was actually a
catalyst for the creation of the Nintendo DS. Interesting.
Anyway, we look forward to very, very beautiful things to come…
[Thanks Andrew!]
