With all the press I've given GT4 in recent months, to let the US release day slip by without a
mention of anything GT4 related would be cruel and unusual. So what have I
not covered yet? Controllers. Sure, the game is designed so you can slap it in your PS2 and play with a gamepad. That's
fine. To get the most from GT4, though, you will need a wheel and pedals, and Logitech are just the people to hook you
up.
The Driving Force Pro is designed especially for Gran Turismo 4, with a full 900 degrees of rotation for those who
like to really work their arms. Of course, you then have the hassle of setting up a decent racing position on your
couch. Now if you only ever race on the PS2, that should be okay, but if you play various games, having what amounts to
the inside of a small car in your living room could become a bit of a bind.
Now excuse me, I have to get ready to crack some skulls in line at the store. Baseball bat? Check. Spiked shoes?
Check. Smoke grenades? Check…
