GT4 is out today. Both Enthusia and Forza Motorsport are on
the way. Now this. Yet another driving game.
RPM Tuning takes a somewhat different approach from the aforementioned behemoths, however. It's more from the Need for
Speed Underground school of racing. However, it has damage modelling, something that's sadly missing from NFSU. There
is no mention of licensed cars, which may explain the damage. Car makers are notorious for not wanting to see their
rides trashed. I'd love to know the reasoning behind this. We're all sensible folk and realise that wrapping a Jag
around a tree doesn't reflect on the company, right?
Whatever the case, RPM is looking like a tuners dream come true. Of course, you may well be tuning fictional cars, which is probably a stake through the heart of the game for many people.
