I got mine on order - can't wait. I was out in SF and stopped in the Playstation store at the Metreon center - someone had brought one over from Japan, and immediately found himself at the center of a crowd of very envious on-lookers. One point worth mentioning was how crisp the screen image appeared even at an angle - the device is a true wonder.

Does this mean each-and-every store has sold pre-orders for each-and-every console they will be recieving, meaning that there will be no waiting in line for hours on the morning of the launch? Where's the fun in that? I have fond memories of my ps2 campout.

Still im going to go check because who nows maby one person cancelled thier order.lol well at least we dont have to deal with poeple trying to get a psp and fighting for it, because the only poeple that will get a psp are the ones who pre-order.

You don’t want to be the only schmuck on the block who actually paid for one, do you?

Walk into a sears or a target. Im sure those places don't do preorders. I work at sears and I know we don't do preorders. We'll get them in and sale on first come, first serve. Also lets not forget walmart.

Hey, I went today to pre order my psp, and guess what the news were true. lol. Still I hunted and hunted and finally found a gamestop that was accepting pre orders for $20. I also went to Best Buy, but I would have to camp out since they were not taking pre orders and were just going to start selling it on launch day. I really dont want to camp out but its cold. I do know that alot of procrastinaters will now have to camp at places like Best Buy LOL. I wonder if online pre orders are still an option?
