Two titles from FF creator announced for Xbox 2!
Wham is reporting that Microsoft has finally
come clean about the next-gen Xbox console. Although it's unclear when or where this announcement was made, it
includes news concerning two exclusive RPGs that are in development for the Xbox 2. Even more significant, both
these games will feature Hironobu Sakaguchi at the helm. The famed Final Fantasy developer broke from Square-Enix
and recently started his own studio, MistWalker. Sakaguchi-san had this to say:
"Microsoft's cutting-edge technologies in the next-generation platform will allow me to bring to life an array of ideas that I have had for many years… I want these games to be alive with a new vision for gaming and vividly depict new characters that will transcend the game, find a place in the hearts of gamers, and make time spent with my games a fond and long-lasting memory."

I just think they overuse the Mario franchise just because it works. It's not that they release 4 "kart" games a year, or tennis or whatever. They release different kind of games using the Mario universe. I enjoy a bunch Mario-themed games a lot but not because they have Toad and Luigi, but because they are great games, such as Mario Kart Double Dash.

God damn it. I was swearing off Xbox2 because PS3 seemed way stronger, and it's not controlled by Bill Gates... Now I have no choice but buying an Xbox2 as well... Fuck.
