Warner Bros. recently confirmed that it will produce a line of Dirty Harry games for next-gen consoles. And unlike EA's Godfather adaptation—which failed to sign Al Pacino—the Dirty Harry games will feature Clint Eastwood's likeness and voice. What's more, Eastwood is set to produce the game through his Malpaso Productions Company.
The news is further evidence of the growing respect for video games as a both an entertainment and artistic medium that rivals the film industry. Let's just hope Clint knows a thing or two about the art of the button press. That is, if he has any hope for the Dirty Harry game becoming his next million dollar baby.
