Empire Earth is an underrated game I think.
Deemed as the "true successor to Age of Empires" by PC Gamer (at least that's what the box in front of me says), it
seems to have been passed over for other titles. Rise of Nations springs immediately to mind. Both games are very
similar in concept.
Empire Earth is well worth seeking out, and you can pick the Gold edition up for a cheap price these days. Or, of
course, you could wait for the sequel to arrive. The full website for said sequel is up and running for your amusement,
and unlike a lot of game sites, doesn't immediately send me screaming for the back button on my browser. No Flash
related crimes here. That's a rarity these days…
