No longer! Some enterprising companies are producing games that can be played right in front of unsuspecting supervisors. One such game is a card game called "Hidden GoStop" that displays the hand dealt (and the actions a player can take) as tiny icons that look like they are part of the Windows Quick Launch bar, according to the report linked below.
MUD-players have been getting away with this for years, with varying degrees of success.
