The Rogue portable gaming device is an interesting product being developed by SL Interphase in Tucson, AZ. The
tablet PC-turned-gamer takes advantage of the latest Tablet tech, and introduces some tweaks that could make it a
viable gaming platform. If done right, of course.
The specs of the machine, as of now, are:
8.4" LCD touch screen, upgradeable CPU and graphics card, up to 2GB DDR2 RAM, thumb track ball, programmable hot keys,
stereo sound, PS/2 Mouse keyboard, built-in Ethernet connection, DVD/CD-ROM.
It would be a tough sell to investors, but a sexy sell to end-users who use their laptops for gaming
anyway. While Alienware and Dell have already entered the game laptop scene, a new tablet that dedicates itself to
games, could be a welcome addition.
It's a bit far-fetched at this point, but so what? We like the idea.
