The Independent Gaming Source reports a need for sign-ups for an interesting game. Odd Man In is "a
multiplayer, web based game of guns and game theory. The object is to be the last man standing." When you enter the
game you choose an avatar and get to conspiring. The rules make the game seem like a combo between the game Diplomacy
and the film Usual Suspects. Here's a snippet from the FAQ. It paints the best picture of the game dynamics.
The game started, what do I do?
Your first objective is to choose a target. Pick someone from the drop down menu underneath "Possible Moves" and
click "Fire!" Don't worry about who you are shooting for now, because you can choose a different target right up until
the round ends. Send a few private messages out to other players to see what they're doing and pair up with one or more
players to kill someone. Make sure you shoot someone before the deadline or you will be AUTOKILLED!
So over a number of days you make and break alliances in a desperate attempt to stay alive. Sounds like a
standard workday around here…
