A tie? There's no such thing as a tie
in baseball—except for the 2002 All-Star Game, of course. But low and behold, 2K5 and MVP are both averaging an
86 on Metacritic. Although they're usually inconsistent, the user ratings tell a different tale. If we
average the PS2 and Xbox scores together, 2K5 holds a suspiciously low 5.8, while MVP is at 7.85. Interestingly
enough, on the Xbox, 2K5 beat out MVP by 6-tenths of a point in the user ratings, while on PS2, MVP scored 4.7 points
higher. Hmmm…
