Use your library card to rent games
It's news to us, but then again, we're not exactly regulars at the local public library. But apparently, a number of libraries have begun to build a significant collection of video games. That's right, you heard us, video games!
Over on Gaming Target, John Scalzo details his quest to stock his public library full of public interest, critically acclaimed, and family-friendly (no M-rated) games. Needles to say, there were some bumps in the road, but the future is definitely bright.

I live in Utah, and my local library always had computer games in the software section. Granted, they were usually educational, but I've checked out Jagged Alliance, Sim City 2000, 3000, and 4, as well as Theme Hospital and a bunch of crappy point-and-clicks. But, this is probably one of the best library systems I've ever seen. We even have DVDs (a LOT of DVDs).

My library has a drive through! I reserve movies on line then pick them up using the drive through. It is the proverbial next level.
