The BAFTA awards have been going for many years. They're Britains answer to the Oscars. However,
unlike the Academy, BAFTA acknowledge burgeoning media, and have an
awards system for video games.
Burnout 3, a title I personally chose as my favourite of 2004, picked up a handful of awards, including Best PS2 Game
and Best Racing Game.
If you've not tried Burnout 3 yet, you're really missing out on possibly the best arcade racing game ever made. At the
height of my addiction, I had nightmares about that damn Heartbreaker pickup…
