An interesting interview with the Vice President of Epic, Mark Rein. He spills on the latest version
of
the Unreal engine, and the upcoming Unreal
3. There's also some interesting technical chat about the next generation game consoles, and how, while they can
produce fantastic graphics, they're still going to be limited in memory. The example he uses is an Nvidia graphics card
he received that has twice the memory they can expect in the consoles. Ouch!
Add to this some smack talk with regards to threats of high pricing from other software companies in regards to next gen titles, and it's a cut above the average press release style hyperbole.
