Logitech unveils PSP peripherals
Logitech recently announced its line of PSP products, PlayGear, which include:
-Logitech PlayGear Pocket case ($19.99)
-Logitech PlayGear Stealth earphones ($19.99)
-Logitech PlayGear Amp portable speakers ($79.99)
-Logitech PlayGear Share audio splitter ($9.99)
The case and speakers appear to be versatile (c'mon, a kickstand/sun-visor, now that's a good idea) and may be worthwhile investments—but the speakers definitely aren't something for the morning/afternoon commute. The earphones and splitter are worthless—that is, if you want these, you probably have them (in a different brand). No word yet on when these products will be released…

PSP...by this guys philosophy that PSP is not meant to be played outside should it even be called a portable? IF its meant to be taken to other places how about we call PS2P, XBOXP, GCP..idiot..
Sony Computer Entertainment leader Ken Kutaragi has been talking about his PSP portable creation again. Following a few peculiar comments a few months ago that suggested he didn't expect players to play the system outside of the home, Kutaragi has changed positions, stating at a press conference held today in Tokyo, "The PSP was developed with the idea of playing PlayStation not just in the home but carrying it around to many places."

The home page for the site in the next posting about the X-Box name actually has a post about this with some pictures, including a pic of a post topic on engadget.com right now of some speakers by logitech. The engadget post shows a white setup for the iPod, but this site show a black setup for the PSP, looks good.

ok that stand looks pretty cool. I would have it sitting on my desk at work to watch movies(during the slow time) and listen to music. Now, it should also keep the PSP charged. That woudl be good.

I think the case looks slick, and I like the look of the headphones better than the ones that are provided with the system.

I hope that stand/portable amp comes equiped with a built in charger. I know a nice little spot on my desk where it would be happy to spend time playing music and little movies.
