Doom was one of the simplest games ever made, structure wise. Run from point A to point B, shooting everything that moves. A plot on a par with the best
Hollywood seemingly has to offer in the action movie department these days.
The idea for a Doom movie has been kicking around for many years, and as you most likely know, has finally been made, starring now apparently ex-wrestler, The Rock.
Will the movie be dire? Well, has there been a truly decent Hollywood movie based on a video game yet? The first still from the movie doesn't fill us with hope. Still, at least it's not being made by Uwe Boll, who churns out lemon after lemon, and yet, inexplicably, is still allowed near a camera.
[Thanks, Sassan. And happy birthday.]
