I believe most of you are missing the point. This after all is a GAME. The economic conditions in China are horrendous in certain areas. There are over 1.6 billion people in China as most of you know. Getting a good paying job is ridiculously difficult, theres just not enough work and money to go around.

To them farming gold in warcraft is reality. That is their job. For all of you that play the game to enjoy it, its just that, playing a GAME. Just think, if Blizzard completely eliminates the virtual economy (which is very unlikely) it would leave hundreds if not thousands of people unemployed. All this for what? So that us Americans can sit back and relax after a hard days work and play a video game and huge american corporations (Blizzard)that really dont need the money can cash out? This type of attitude is ridiculously selfish and egotistic, as expected from most Americans.

If you would just take the time and think about the big picture. They are just people trying to earn a living to feed their family in a cutthroat environment that has limited supply of money and jobs. To them this is reality, to us its just a Game. There are many choice for you, such as playing a single player game, or playing an online game that does not have an economy (counterstrike) while these gold farmers have none. Do you think they enjoy sitting in front of a computer for 10 hours in a roll doing the same things over again everyday for months? You take whatever you can get when your choices are very limited. Dont be selfish ignorant bastards who take people out of their jobs so that you can enjoy a video game. Just let it be.

I dont really see a problem with people buying gold, i mean, the only really decent items most people can get are BOP, and unless they pay farmers to instance with them (haha that would go well) i doubt there is a problem. The worst thing i can see them doing is buying an epic mount with money bought currency, its their money i say we let them waste it.

As for the farmers themselves i think their accounts should be banned, every 2 weeks on my server someone floods the market with Arcane crystals dropping the prices dramatically. That sucks for people like me who spend my time farming these things to get gold legitimatly.

in responce to #47

plz read the following posts #12,#28 ,#32 in case if your not bothered to read them i will simplify them here, when a honest player takes his time and earns lets say 10 gold it is useless because of the gold sellers who sell 1000 gold for 50 usd or which means there is too much money around what that does is de-values the money so you have stuff being sold at outrageous prices even to such a point that the only wy you could ever aquire them item is by buying wow gold other wise it would take you months to collect enough money.

for those who think these gold farming idiots are well off ect heres a lovely little article for you to read

People whom insist gold farming and is illegitimate need to realize this is a GAME.
Post #51 conveys a demonstrative message.
Who honestly cares whether or not gold farming occurrs nor if RL money is used to purchase in game money. Those who argue it's unfair to the population who can't afford to buy gold. #1..You are probably 12 years old with the account on mom and dad's credit card...or #2 if you live on you own and can't afford to spend twenty dollars on gold if you so chose...then go find a job that pays more..you are in severe trouble if you can hardly afford 15 bucks a month to play. Those who argue it diminishes the economy in game...well that's the fault of your own realm...farmers will sell items at gouged prices only if the items are being bought. Discontinue buying items at those prices and I assure you the average sale tag will plummet. I pay fifteen dollars a month to play a game as everyone does. Blizzard should be focusing on fixing server crashes and monitoring thier own forums as thousands of great suggestions have been made and completely ignored or overlooked by blizzard. Agree or Disagree I don't care just my two cents.

I completely agree with post #51. Scroll up and read that, he expressed everything that I wanted to write. If you think you're enjoyment of a video game is more important than lives I suggest you open your eyes and take a look at the world around you.
