This game looks totally sweet. But do you actually 'evolve' or hand craft your creature with points earned? I'm a bit confused!

Are they going to release Spore!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? It looks like the coolest game ever, and it seems like Will likes the same games as me, Pac-man, Populous, and Civilization. I need this game!!! Everybody should read the Gamespy article, it's really comprehensive and good!

Hey all, Gaming Steve here. You actually hand craft your creature with points that you earn. Eventually when you earn enough points you can "evolve" your creature past your current stage. For example, when you have enough points to add legs to your creature it will come out of the water and onto land (which is the next stage).

The game will come out, they have been working on it at Maxis for several years. Also the demo was a nearly complete game. It wasn't a technology demo, this was a demo of a game near finished.

Listen to my podcast and I go into extreme detail about all of these items, and more!
