CBS's gaming division recently sat down with Hal Halpin, president of the IEMA. The what?
Exactly. The Interactive Entertainment Merchants Association is a non-profit organization that looks after the
gaming industry's best interests. According to Halpin, "We handle all matters to that end including lobbying
local, state and the federal government, negotiating standardization issues, researching and implementing new policies
and procedures, public and government relations, etc." It's an interesting read; check it out.
