Canada gets fleeced a lot. Due to being next
door to the US, the US market sets the prices up here in Canada. However, the exchange rate is never taken into
account, and the US Dollar has gotten so bad that, in many cases, it's cheaper now to order items from the US and
import them, than it is to buy them locally. Case in point: Take Two's latest baseball game. Canadian price: $29.99.
Converted US price to Canadian: $24.08.
With that in mind, Microsoft have announced an Xbox bundle in Canada. In it you get an Xbox, a copy of MechAssault 2,
and a bunch of Xbox Live stuff. It retails for a cent shy of $230, and represents, allegedly, $60 in
savings.
So go forth and kick metal butt. If it's not actually a fleece job.
