Unless you've been living in a mayonaisse jar for the past few weeks, you've probably at least taken a peek at the new Zelda trailer that Nintendo sprang on us at GDC earlier this month. True to form, it's shaping up to be a very, very pretty game. But what aspects of gameplay can we discern from the clip? IGN takes a look and points out a few things you may have missed… that is, unless you've been watching the trailer on an infinite loop since the day it was released. For the rest of us, they point out a few interesting details that may lend themselves to uncovering the secrets behind Link's next big adventure. Some are blatant, like that you have the ability to dive underwater. Some are just plain cool, like the inclusion of bomb arrows, which may lead to the ability to fuse other items (fire boomerang? magnetic boots?). A few lead to some serious speculation, like the reported ability to make Epona transform into a myriad of different beasts, and Link's supposed control over animals. Even if you've already memorized the trailer down to each individual texture, it's still deserving of a quick look. After all, it doesn't look like Nintendo will be spilling any more tasty Zelda beans until E3. Just 58 more agonizing days to go…
