Nyko gives us slick new cases fit for a PSP
So you've preordered your PSP bundle, imported all the best games from Japan, and stocked up on all the accessories
you could find on eBay, but you're still hunting for a sleek case to keep your expensive new PSP shiny and
scratch-free? Hunt no more, for Nyko's got your back with a pair of PSP cases fit for a king. Or at least a king's PSP.
Aside from the sharp aluminum exterior, each case is waterproof, shock-resistant, and lined with neoprene for that
extra delicate touch. Each also features its own rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which holds enough juice to recharge
your PSP twice. The premium Theater Experience case features all that, as well as integrated stereo sound, dual
headphone jacks, and a multi-positional stand to prop your PSP up just the way you like. The only hitch: I can't find a
price listed anywhere, which is usually a poor portent. Still, we can dream…

LOL! You need an awful big MAN-BAG to carry all of that plus your games. This is HUGE!

According to EB Games, the charger case is $59.99 Link: http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/255789.asp
Couldn't find a price for the Theatre Experience case, but I only checked EB games.

The charger case was originally listed on the EB pre-order bundle as PSP Charger Case $59.99, but was removed from the selection list because it "won't be released by the manufacturer until after the May 24th PSP ship date."

Not to steal the PSP's thunder or anything but does anyone knows of a good DS case, all I can find is leather and soft cases, I'm looking for a hard or medium hard case, I protect my palm with a Rhino case, is there something like that for the DS, preferably with space for games (both GBA & DS).

Ugh! These make the sp look like even more of a brick. is the system really so fragile you need a metal case?

Placed my order with EBGames first week of Feb. Got my impending rape notice and was asked how I wanted it a few weeks ago. Chooe for items from the list they said. There weren't 4 games I wanted so I picked the charger case. What better for a device in regular need of a charge? Looking at my order now, the charger is still there. Expected ship date for the PSP Value pack is 3/23 but the case won't be available until may and every game I ordered (Dark Stalkers, Wipeout Pure and Dynasty Warriors) won't be shipped until the April 6th...
Strangely enough I'm not upset. Got my hands on a Japanese version today (have to give it back tomorrow) and it is hands down worth the wait. It's even worth the extortion tactics associated with preorders.

I Cal BS!
It is a plaything, a toy. Nothing is worth the shit retailers are pulling. Next year, everyone will have forgotten about the PSP.
Frankly @ Dec 18th 2005 10:05PM
Hold on. I take it back.
Next year, only Mack will care about the PSP.

I Froogled "Nyko Theater Experience PSP" and the price goes from $56 to $80! Wow, I think I'll wait until April. (That's when one of these sites are going to ship it to you, so I'm guessing that's when it is going to come.)
Might get the Logitech case, if I have to pay over $60.

HA. Yeah, just like the Xbox, the PlayStation, the GameCube, the Gameboy and GameBoy Advance, the recent GameBoy DS...
All total failures that make no money.
Your're a real smart guy Frankly.
