It wouldn't be a normal week in the gaming industry without a lawsuit and, bless their little
hearts,
Hasbro have made sure all is right with the
world.
E-Scrabble has, or rather had, been providing an online outlet for Scrabble players for some time. Well, Hasbro could
no longer let folk enjoy a friendly game of Scrabble online for free, and thus had to destroy it, because crushing your
customer base under foot has worked so well for other corporate entities. It's times like now that
this comes to mind.
Well done Hasbro. I'm quite sure that the thousands upon thousands of players that you've just severely angered will
be eager to continue to buy your products, and support your company with unflagging fervour. We applaud you!
Thank god Hasbro don't own the rights to Chess…
e-Scrabble cease and desisted by Hasbro
