According to a page on EBGames.com, the not-very-long awaited expansion pack to Halo 2 will be available by May 25, and will retail for the price of $19.99. The product's page has since been taken down, but EBGames has yet to remove the entry from the search directory (a snapshot of which I've taken the liberty to capture above). Going on TVG's word, the expansion will contain nine new maps, a cinematic video, and a documentary detailing the making of Halo 2. Whether or not more features will be added is likely to be addressed by Bungie this Friday. Fanboyish flame wars aside, is this a primitive working example of Microsoft's next microtransaction initiative?
UPDATE, 8:49 PM: The expansion pack's entry in EBGames.com's search directory has since been removed. Let me take this opportunity to say that I absolutely love the Print Screen button.
[oh yeah, thanks, Fady Ibrahim]
