One glance at the headline—Sony PSP Great For Games, Not Much Else—and you pretty much know what to
expect. And don't get us wrong (we're no fanboys), there's nothing wrong with a brutally honest headline, even if
by now, the complaint is starting to sound like a broken record. The truth is, if you're buying a PSP tomorrow,
you're either in it for the gaming experience or you're willing to wait for Sony to—theoretically—enhance the
multimedia functionality.
But c'mon, how many UMD Disney movies are you really gonna invest in? And how many memory sticks are you gonna throw down for? If you own an iPod (or a clone) are you really gonna stop using it? Gamers will buy this thing, millions. But I have a sinking feeling that the other features, while promising, are gonna fade just as quickly as your $250.
