August 11th-14th will see Quakecon turn ten years old this year. The event started as an IRC
arranged gathering for some fans. Now it's the largest event of it's
kind. The first year, about 100 people showed. Last year, 6000 people attended.
Id are saying it's going to be "the party of the decade". There has, however, been no mention of anything related to
Quake IV.
Be there, or be a rhombus. And if you can't make it to Texas, buy some vodka, dust off Quake and play it. It'll be
almost like being there.
