24 hours in The Matrix

Take the blue pill. No, not Viagra. That pill to get you into the Matrix. The Megaplex team have documented their first 24 hours inside the MMOG of the Wachowski's creation, and it sounds average at best, though it sounds like the end of the beta was quite spectacular.

It's the usual MMOG levelling treadmill. Only instead of bashing orcs in the head, you're now bashing Matrix dwellers. Same as orcs, only better looking, and with cooler clothes. An agent appearing, and killing you on the spot seems a little unfair. Of course, weird stuff happens during beta tests.

The piece is a fun read, and gives you an insight into what the MMOG is like right now. Not sure it'll be winning any subscribers as a consequence of the article. Sure sounds like the beta got a good send off, though.
