Come on. You know we're doomed to months of comparisons between the two products. Sure, Nintendo insists they aren't
competing with Sony. Sure, Sony is acting like they have the next iPod on their hands. But, really, in the end, isn't
it all about having fun?
So back to reality, IGN posted a PSP vs. DS piece a couple of days ago that's been causing a bit of a
stir. It looks like the writer has had his run-in with
fans of Nintendo — and somehow lived to tell the tale. He gives the DS kudos for portability, battery power and load
times, but comes down squarely on the side of the PSP. You know he was asking for trouble when you read the last
paragraph.
"So in theory, the Nintendo DS is a better portable system but the PSP is the better all-around system. This seems
like a fair enough assessment and the final word we'll stick with."
Poor guy. Maybe we should have warned him.
