Apparently, all it takes is a little "graphite black" and "pure white" paint these days—take note, Sony. Last
week, Nintendo more than doubled its Japanese sales of the DS from the previous week with the release of the new
colored models (are black and white really colors?). The Big N moved 54,000 units from March 21st to the
27th.
On April 21st, two additional models will be released: Turquoise Blue and Candy Pink. All units still retail for
15,000 yen ($139). No plans yet to release the colored models outside of Japan.
[Thanks, Andrew]
