Fable, Halo and Project Gotham to the Xbox 360
It's not surprising. But it's great to hear from the mouth of a bigwig. Three of the best-selling titles on Xbox
will get a new life on the next-gen Big Black Box. Fable, Halo and Project Gotham have exceeded Microsoft's
expectations, cementing them as staples of the comapny's game strategy. MS clearly sees the titles as franchises, and
will push that idea with vigor and cash in the coming months. Microsoft Game Studios honcho Shane Kim let the Master
Chief out of the bag on Xbox.com, with the general statement:
"Without giving away all the surprises we have in store, gamers that love franchises like Halo, Fable, and Project
Gotham Racing can safely assume we will continue to invest in them as we move into the next generation."
Again, not surprising. But titillating.

Maybe this time they'll make Fable, you know, GOOD. Or at least live up to Peter the Frenchman's hype engine.

Fable was good. As good as hype good gets. Compare it to other games that were nothing more than a hype. In all honesty, i think Fable did alright. Truthfully, i believe that Halo 2 in itself was one big hype. I thought the game was 7/10, but the MP and the graphics obviously made reviewers cream their pants, so to they the game 9.99999/10.

Halo 2 had a single player campeign?! oops I must of missed it :)
Fable was fun and enjoyable until:
A) I broke the game in one spot making over 1,000,000 experience...i heard this was easy to do in other spots as well.
B) realized the core game took about 10 hours. Hmmm its an RPG that was dubbed "Project ego" onceu and it only took 10 hours? Granted I hate the 70 hour opus of rpg's that are out there, but 10 hours even I thought that was short. (Play the side missions sure, but for what when you bagged 1,000,000 exp on one mission basically maxing out the character).
