I ran into a curious short piece from Illinois' WQAD Channel 8 news site. The tone of the piece is great — A student
tells the governor that any laws to curb video sales to minors will do nothing to curb violence. The governor's
proposal is one of the strictest in the country, essentially making the retailer responsible for mature games ending up
in the child's home console.
It looks like the piece was pulled from the teleprompter. If so, one question… shouldn't the talking heads know how to
pronounce their governor's name? They probably play too many videogames.
