Joystiq always miss all the details, even when their sister site is reporting it:

first a stupid potential name and now associating themselves with a joke of a television channel. it's not like they really care, but i'm losing more and more interest in xbox related anything. i'm not trying to troll, this is just my opinion.

abominabledrphibes,

Who the hell cares what TV station they reveal it on? How does that matter to anything? If anything, its smart to put it on MTV because of the level of exposure it will gain. Its common sense.

And there is nothing wrong with the name XBOX 360. At least MSFT made an effort. Its not like PS3 is an innovative name or something.

You just sound like a cynical jackass with nothing good to say about things you have'nt even seen yet, lol. Must be a nice life...

I just noticed that 360 really implies that Microsoft wants to "spin" things. Well, if you spin the '6' in Xbox 360 you get Xbox 3d0. Also, I can see that M$ wants to "turn things around" after finishing a distant second in the last console war. But if they turn things around 360 degrees... well, they'll be right back in the same position.. with Sony having a huge lead.
