Very little is known on this right now. In fact, it's pretty much just a rumor. We like rumors.
Supposedly the movies director, Guillermo Del Toro, as well as Mike Mignola, the comics creator, are onboard. Konami
are, allegedly, the publisher.That's it. Not much meat. However, it does give a tantalizing sniff of what may be
cooking.
It's very surprising that a Punisher game has birthed into the world, but no Hellboy title has, when Hellboy was by
far the better received film.

Actually, not that surprising at all. Punisher is a bigger, more recognized title, hence the game was probably greenlighted at around the same time the movie was. Hellboy was more of a "wait and see how the fans respon before we invest the farm" movie, so now they're scrambling to get a game together while Hellboy's still relevant to the movie-going public.
