Xbox 360 games an HDTV affair at E3

TeamXbox has an interesting scoop on the back room dealings of E3. It looks like Microsoft will require all Xbox 360 games to be displayed in HDTV-only. No SDTV or EDTV this year. The requirement makes sense, considering the games look best in the higher rez, and J Allard spent all his oxygen at GDC talking about the HD Era. People will be looking for them to put their money where their mouth is.

so does this mean xbox 360 games will only work on HDTV tv's ?
that would really suck.

No. It means that they're only going to be shown at E3 on HDTV.

Will XBOX360 work on hdtv monitors or will you have to have a receiver or a bilt in recveiver in tv?

Ey guys! This does not mean that Xbox 360 only works on HD-tv:s but you may get the best resokution when using it! and I think that J. Allard want all xbox360 games in HD-tv so all the people that is going to buy an HD-tv only beacause of the xbox 360 so that they may get theyre money paid back.. so you dont have to feel that "oh no! why did I buy a new tv? the old one works almost better"
