According to the Sports Business Journal, Donovan McNabb has been selected to grace the cover of Madden 2006. While EA has not confirmed this rumor, there is good reason to believe it's true. For one, the Sports Business Journal has been correct about EA Sports' deals in the past, before the fact. And two, judging by EA's past cover picks, McNabb presents a more than justifiable case, especially when considering this year's edition will focus on the passing game. Last season, McNabb finished with a 104.7 passer rating and 31 TDs. E-A-G-L-E-S… EAGLES!

Wow! This new in-game screen shot it the best one yet. It looks real! Much better than the other "next gen" shots we've been shown recently.

Last time I checked the losing Super Bowl Quarterback wasn't worthy of a Madden cover. By this logic, why not just have McNabb, Roethisberger and P. Manning on the cover lining up for second place....?
Tom Terrific all the way!
