Playboy Embraces the PSP

PSP PronPlayboy will soon release content for Sony's PSP. According to Gamasutra, "the company will offer nude and non-nude photo galleries that have been specifically formatted for viewing on the PSP, taking advantage of the open movie and image viewing capabilities of Sony's handheld."

What's surprising about this announcement is that Playboy is choosing to release titillating videos and photographs first. We thought everyone read the magazine for the articles, so what gives? Where's the highbrow literature we've come to expect from Playboy?

Concerns about the coarsening of society aside, this isn't the first time we've covered this topic (see previous entry here) so we've got some practical tips for you if you hope to convert your PSP to a Pornstation portable:

  • Protect your investment by using the PSP's wrist-strap.

  • You may want to obtain a privacy overlay if you intend to view this content on public transportation.

  • Thumb prints on your PSP screen: tired. Other stuff on your PSP screen: wired.
