It was only a matter of time before EA made the announcement, but it's official, the Sims 2 has been confirmed for the
three major consoles, and more intriguingly, for the PSP and DS (plus the GBA). According to EA, the console
versions will not be a direct port of the PC game, but rather this newest version will let players "take direct control
of their sim without having to use their cursor". As for the portable Sims 2, EA has suggested that it will
contain "unique storylines". It sounds as if EA is really trying to take advantage of all the Sims fanatics out
there by luring them into buying all three versions. Evildoers! (Ain't it fun to have a villain in the
industry?...)
